Step 1: Check for Office Updates

Outdated installations have known bugs that cause crashes:

1. Open Word and go to File > Account
2. Click Update Options > Update Now
3. Install all available updates and restart Word

1. Press Windows + R, type winword /safe, press Enter
2. Work normally for 10-15 minutes
