Service Delivery
GenText AI Assistant is a digital product delivered as a Microsoft Word add-in through Microsoft AppSource. As a digital service, there is no physical product to ship. Your subscription is activated immediately upon purchase and payment confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to install and access the add-in within Microsoft Word.
Installation is simple and instantaneous. Once you sign in with your GenText account credentials, the add-in becomes immediately available in your Microsoft Word application on all compatible devices where you sign in.
Subscription Terms
GenText offers flexible subscription options to suit your needs:
- Monthly Billing: Your subscription renews automatically each month on the date you purchased. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing cycle.
- Annual Billing: Your subscription renews automatically each year on the anniversary of your purchase date. Annual subscriptions offer better value with savings compared to monthly billing.
- Free Trial: Eligible new users may receive a free trial period. After the trial expires, your subscription will require payment to continue service.
Refund Policy
We stand behind the quality of GenText and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Here's our refund policy:
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with GenText within 30 days of your purchase, we offer a full refund of your subscription fee, no questions asked.
- Refund Request Process: To request a refund, contact our support team at support@gentext.ai with your order number and reason for the refund request.
- Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days and will be returned to your original payment method.
- Partial Refunds: For refunds requested after 30 days, we consider the circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your situation.
Cancellation
You may cancel your GenText subscription at any time:
- Self-Service Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription directly through your account settings on the GenText website.
- Email Cancellation: You may also cancel by sending a cancellation request to support@gentext.ai.
- Effective Date: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to GenText through the end of your paid subscription.
- No Refund on Cancellation: Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the remainder of your current billing period. However, see our Refund Policy above for refunds within 30 days of purchase.
Service Availability
While we strive to provide reliable service, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability:
- Maintenance: We may perform scheduled maintenance during off-peak hours with advance notice when possible.
- Service Disruptions: Temporary service disruptions may occur due to technical issues, updates, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
- Extended Outages: In the event of an extended service outage, we will provide service credits or other remedies as appropriate.
- System Requirements: GenText requires a compatible version of Microsoft Word. Compatibility information is available on our website.
Billing and Payment
Billing inquiries and payment-related issues:
- Billing statements and invoices are available in your account dashboard
- Payment methods can be updated or changed at any time from your account settings
- Failed payments may result in temporary service suspension until payment is received
- Billing disputes should be reported to support@gentext.ai within 30 days
