GenText AI Assistant is a Microsoft Word add-in powered by artificial intelligence to help users with writing, research, and document editing tasks. The Service provides features such as text generation, editing suggestions, research assistance, citation management, and content optimization. The Service is delivered digitally through Microsoft AppSource and requires a valid subscription to access premium features.

User Accounts

When you create a GenText account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during account registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and password
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security
• Not share your account credentials with third parties or allow others to use your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password and for restricting access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purposes or in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the Service to create content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or third-party systems

Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by GenText Group Inc., its licensors, or other providers of such material and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• Our IP: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or business use, subject to these terms.
• Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant GenText a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your content to provide the Service.
• Generated Content: Content generated by the Service's AI features may be used by you freely, subject to applicable laws and third-party rights.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GenText shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Loss of business or business opportunities
• Service interruption or unavailability
• Reliance on inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Service

The total liability of GenText for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of liability, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Termination

GenText may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without notice or liability, for any of the following reasons:

• Violation of these terms or any applicable law
• Failure to pay subscription fees
• Engaging in fraudulent or malicious activity
• Misuse of the Service or intellectual property infringement
• Any other reason deemed necessary by GenText in its sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and you must delete all copies of the Service in your possession.

GenText does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
