Step 1: Launch Word in Safe Mode

Windows:

1. Close Word completely
2. Press Windows Key and type “Word”
3. Don’t click open yet—instead, right-click on Microsoft Word
4. Hold Ctrl and click to open (or use Ctrl+Cliquez)
5. Word will open with minimal add-ins

Mac:

1. Close Word completely
2. Hold the Shift key immediately after clicking Word in Applications
3. Release Shift once Word begins opening
4. Cliquez “Désactivez All” when prompted

Step 2: Effacez Office Cache

Corrupted cache files cause frequent crashes.

Windows:

1. Close Word
2. Press Windows Key + R to open Run dialog
3. Type: %appdata%\microsoft\office and press Enter
